PRE- AND POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS​

 

 

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

1. No advil, aspirin or alcohol for 24 hours prior. Do not discontinue if prescribed.

2. If you have a history of cold sores you must start taking an anti-viral medication (ex. Valtrex) 48 hours prior to your appointment. This treatment can trigger an outbreak

3. If you have an active cold sore you can not receive the treatment. Please reschedule your appointment.

4. PRP Microneedling Only: Please drink a lot of water the evening before, and day of your appointment. This will increase potential for a successful blood draw.

 

 

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

1. Your skin will be pink to red immediately after treatment, depending on needle depth. The depth will be determined by you and your provider before beginning your treatment.

2. Healing time varies and can range from 0-3 days depending on depth of treatment.

3. You must keep your skin moist throughout the healing process with a heavy, non-comedogenic moisturizer.

4. We offer a healing kit for purchase that includes cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen for $50 and will last for multiple treatments.

 

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS

1. Pregnancy

2. Breastfeeding

3. Active facial rash

4. Active cold sores/blisters

6. Areas with Rosacia can not be treated.
