What It Is:
NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a naturally occurring coenzyme found in all living cells and is essential for cellular energy production, DNA repair, and metabolic function. NAD therapy is commonly prescribed to support energy, cognitive function, metabolism, anti-aging, and overall cellular health.
How It Works:
NAD plays a critical role in mitochondrial function by helping convert nutrients into usable cellular energy (ATP). It also supports DNA repair, cellular regeneration, and healthy neurological function. NAD levels naturally decline with age, stress, and illness.
Expected Benefits:
Improved energy levels, enhanced mental clarity and focus, improved metabolism, reduced fatigue, support for healthy aging, improved cellular repair, and overall wellness support. Benefits vary and are optimized with consistent use.
Possible Side Effects:
Mild redness, itching, or swelling at the injection site, headache, nausea, flushing, dizziness, fatigue, or muscle cramping. These effects are generally mild and temporary.
Contact Your Provider If You Experience:
Persistent injection site reactions, severe nausea, chest tightness, shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness, or any unusual or concerning symptoms.
Who Should Not Use:
Suite Skin does not prescribe NAD to individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have active or suspected cancer, have known allergies to any component of the medication, or have medical conditions deemed inappropriate by our medical team. You must notify our medical team if any of these conditions apply to you now or arise during treatment.
Treatment Expectations:
NAD is a supportive therapy and is not a standalone treatment. Consistency is essential, and results are enhanced by proper nutrition, hydration, sleep, stress management, and adherence to your overall treatment plan.
Patient Responsibility:
Use only as prescribed. Do not change dose or schedule without provider approval. Attend follow-up appointments and report side effects promptly.
Questions: Contact your provider with any questions or concerns.
